We spend most of our time at work using computers at work, using smart phones outdoors, and tablets and computers at home. Technology, especially software, has become an integral part of both business and everyday life. It must be difficult to imagine a world without them. In fact, finding a world without computers can be more difficult than you might think; They've been here for years. The software made the impossible possible today, and after all the trouble, now everything is faster and easier.
Birth of Software
Every time you use a computer, smartphone, video game console, or many other electronic devices, you are using a device that runs on the software. Some software is very complex, other software is quite simple and is designed to do only a few different things. In either case, the software is actually giving life to machines so that a device can become its final application after a process.

What is Software?
Simply put, the software is the interface between computer systems and their users. The software consists of programming instructions and data that tell the computer how to perform various tasks. These instructions are generally a set of codes written in a higher language, which is easier for human programmers to use, and then converted into a low-level machine code that the computer can understand directly. Instead, they work on a binary command, all of which are an array of ones and zeros. Some of the oldest computers are programmed in binary, but since this is a long and tedious task that a few people can do, different programming languages have been created to make programming easier. This, it actually led to the birth of software that served as an interpreter. Computer users give instructions to the computers through the software interface, which are then translated by the software into a language that the computer can understand.
Tom Kilburn, a computer scientist, was responsible for writing the world's first software, which was published on 21 June 1948 at the University of Manchester in England. Kilburn and his colleague Freddie Williams built one of the oldest computers, the Manchester Small Scale Experiment Machine (also known as the "Baby"). SSEM was programmed to perform mathematical calculations using machine code instructions. For decades after this groundbreaking event, computers were programmed with punch cards where the holes showed specific machine code instructions. Other companies, such as IBM, soon entered the market with computers such as the IBM PC, which was released in 1981. The following year, Time magazine chose the personal computer Man of the Year. Again, productivity and business software dominated these early stages of personal computing. Many important software applications such as AutoCAD, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel were launched in the mid-1980s.
Open source software, another important innovation in the history of software development, first entered the mainstream in the 1990s, mostly due to the use of the Internet. The Linux kernel was the basis for the open source Linux operating system, after the release of the source code 1998, the spiked open source software in the late 1990s was released for the benefit of 1991 Netscape Navigator browser written mainly in C and C ++.
