Let's start with the definition of Web Design. Design is to shape, form and envision something in the mind.
Web design refers to the design of websites displayed on the Internet, which means planning, creating and updating websites.
The website design also includes information architecture, website structure, user interface, navigation ergonomics, website layout, colors, contrasts, fonts and images (photography) and design of icons.
Meaning of Web Design
All these website elements are put together to create websites. Generally, the meaning of "design" is perceived only as a visual point of view. In fact, website design includes more abstract elements such as usability, ergonomics, layout traditions, user habits, navigation logic and other things that simplify the use of websites and help find information faster.
In the classical sense, design describes the visual appearance of a website. The traditional approach includes contrast, coloring, balance, emphasis, rhythm, style of graphical elements (lines, shapes, texture, color and direction), use of icons, background textures, and general atmosphere of general website design.
Good Web Design
A web designer works on the appearance, layout and content of a website in some cases. For example, the appearance relates to the colors used, the font, and the images. The layout shows how information is structured and categorized. A good web design is easy to use, aesthetically pleasing and fits the user group and brand of the website. Many web pages are designed with a focus on simplicity, so that no foreign information or functionality that distracts or distracts users.
All these elements are combined with the basic principles of design to create an excellent result that meets the goals set for the website.
